Welcome!

I have been wanting to create a blog for a long time. So here it is. I have been crafting since forever! I started scrapbooking in earnest when President Obama won.  I had to document that historic event and haven't put the glue stick and scissors  down ever since.  Now I scrap everything! Along the way, I also started making cards.  My first post about an awesome card I made using stamps by Dyan Reaveley. Enjoy!

Dylusion stamps

Welcome to my blog. I am addicted to scrapbooking and card making. I hope to share my love of paper crafting with you in this blog.
Here is my first post.
Do you have the Dylusion stamps by Dyan Reaveley in your stash? I was drawn to these stamps when I first saw them but honestly, I didn't know what to do with them. The images are really  funky and fun but not something I would normally use. But one day I saw a picture in Essence magazine and I had an ah ha! moment. I used that image as an inspiration for a card using those stamps.  Here is what I came up with:
